Campbell Grayson Wins 2019 Houston Open

INFINITUM Squash Touring Pro, Campbell Grayson battled past his seeding in heroic fashion this weekend to win the 2019 Northwestern Mutual Life Time Houston Open.

Following an intense summer's training block with Nick Taylor, Campbell, the 3 seed, pushed hard through the draw, taking out the 5 seed, Indian Vikram Malhotra in the quarters. The semifinals proved to be the match of the tournament as Campbell was eventually able to make his way past the World #20 and 1 seed, Ryan Cuskelly in five games, with Campbell taking the 5th decidedly 11-5 after an injury break by Cuskelly at the end of the 4th. To close it out, Campbell pushed to a 3-1 victory in the final against the 2 seed, Scotsman, Alan Clyne to take the trophy.

Congrats, Campbell!
