INFINITUM Squash Spring Programming Growth
Spring programming at INFINITUM Squash is underway with more steady growth in numbers at all levels. Our Junior Academy has expanded in depth and breadth with more players and more great results from our tournament newcomers and elite players alike.
As our junior clinics, school programs, visiting players and membership have grown, so too has our development pathway; we continue through much of our programming to mix our junior and adult players, creating a fluid pipeline of technical instruction and level-adjusting competition with the goal of providing all our players - regardless of age, gender, or level - the same opportunities to take their squash as far as they’re willing to work for it - and to have a blast doing so!
Along with our Junior Academy, our Adult Members’ Drop-In Coaching Sessions continue to be the mainstay of the INFINITUM community and representative of the overarching ethos of our programming. The top players of our Junior Academy feed into these technically focused competitive sessions and eventually on to our new Elite Clinics, open to players with a 4.5 rating and above.
The INFINITUM coaching team works under a uniform set of technical principles, aligning our private lessons with our group and clinic offerings. We have seen major growth in our lesson numbers, as well as interest in our squash-specific strength and conditioning offerings, which have been designed - and continue to evolve - to not just get our players fitter, faster, and stronger, but to also promote healthy growth and injury prevention at all levels.
Hosting the JCT in February was a blast and we’re looking forward to our upcoming Silver and Bronze tournaments and summer camps. With members’ box leagues, ladies’ clinics and tournament coaching offerings new this spring, we’re excited for everything we’ve got in the works.
